Dianne Armstrong is a contemporary artist living and working in Whiritoa on the Coromandel Coast. Having studied painting, drawing and design for many years, art in its many forms has accompanied her throughout her life. Dianne’s paintings are her response to organic forms, shapes, lines and colours that surround her. Memories gathered from the coastal area where she lives.

‘I have a loose idea but I let things happen with line and colour. I have this urge to just put lines and paint on the clean canvas or board in front of me and I try to let them achieve a life of their own. I enjoy the intuitive connection.’
