Upcoming Exhibition:

New Works by Ulemj Glamuzina

Exhibition opens 26 February 2022

Growing up in Mongolia Ulemj spent a great deal of her childhood reading and daydreaming of fantasy worlds. With travels to the UK and university study in Japan, she was exposed to an eclectic mix of culture.

Creating art is an effective way for Ulemj to connect to the themes of belonging, acceptance, and communication. Through her work, she  strives to connect and evoke a response in the viewers imagination. The Japanese concept of  ‘wabi-sabi’ resonates with her being about the transient nature of life and its imperfections. Her desire is to inspire people to look at the world and discover beauty in imperfection.

Ulemj Glamuzina works at Gallery Te Puna include original acrylic and mixed media paintings.
